Arpan: A Centre for Children with Special Needs Founded in 1993, Arpan is a non-profit organization in Vadodara dedicated to empowering children and adults with multiple disabilities. With a multidimensional, transdisciplinary approach, we focus on cognitive, motor, language, and social development—striving to build independent and confident individuals.

Welcome to Arpan, a haven of transformation and compassion dedicated to serving children aged 6 to 40 facing multiple disabilities. Nestled within our 31-year-old organization, Arpan stands as a beacon of hope for those with autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and cognitive movement challenges. With a mission to foster independence, we provide holistic services encompassing social skills, life skills, daily activities, sports, vocational training, and special education. Our commitment extends to delivering crucial therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cognitive therapy, and sensory integration based on individual needs. With 126 children currently under our care, Arpan continues to illuminate lives, striving to create a more inclusive and compassionate world. Dr. Rashmi Kacker (Trustee): A counsellor by profession. Founder Trustee of Arpan, with decades of experience in handling charitable institutions of this kind and magnitude.

Nimish Makadia (Trustee) : Hailing from the family known for its Philanthropic work. A Conservator of Heritage structures by profession, a popular figure in the field of sports, well known in the society for his philanthropy and ever helpful nature. Has been a part of the team since more than a decade

Tinoo Chawla (Trustee): Has been involved with Arpan since its inception. A well-known philanthropist, and has been actively involved with NGOs of high magnitude like United Way (Trustee), So Clean (Secretary), Hari Seva Trust (Trustee), Baroda Citizen Council (Former Chairperson) are to name a few.

Ram Devidayal (Trustee) : A reputed entrepreneur by profession and a Philanthropist by heart. Always eager to help. Has been involved with Arpan since more than a decade.

Taral Patel (Trustee) : Director with the Voltamp group. A well known philanthropist, involved in many activities through her family foundation. Also actively involved in NGOs like Baroda Citizen Council (Chairperson).

Kinnari Patel (Trustee) : Known for her selfless and dedicated Contribution towards Arpan during the construction of the new building. She has been a part of the team since a decade now.
